So we went into NYC Saturday to see the VAMPS show :3.

There was some kind of street fair going on...and it smelled partially like food, partially like sewage. I guess people were burning things....and garbage. THERE WAS SO MUCH GARBAGE. It was nasty as hell. I'm gonna chalk it up to the street fair but there was garbage everywhere....

There was some dude on a street corner, he was drumming on various tubs cans pots pans plates...etc. And he was at it from about 5:30 (when we got there) to like 10-11pm when we passed him again. He was really good xD

And we weren't far from NYAF either apparently. We saw a few cosplayers, like a really cute Sakura from Tsubasa....and a weird group of people camped in Penn Station, we couldn't tell why they were there but they were all damn comfy. All laying around in the concourse O_o. They weren't homeless either. Who knows. And there was a dude running around the streets in a neon orange jumpsuit and a blue cape......it was weird. We later found out that comic-con may or may not have been in the area at the time too...

So we went over to the Nintendo store, and stopped off at a Five Guys Buregrs n Fries. OMGYUM.

The nintendo store wasn't too great this time around, they only had plushies of Jigglypuff (OVER 9000 of them) and a handful of Kyogres ... so boo. There were some really cute Kirby's and DeDeDes but I loved the waddle-dee plushies. I wish we had gotten one... They had this AWESOME statue of Zant, he was $250 but he was like at least a foot tall...and SO COOL LOOKING. I love Zant...I think he's fucking hilarious. His dancing and weeping and silliness. He's fun <333

Anyway, apparently people were camped out during the day (and maybe night??) for the VAMPS show. ...which I find funny cuz we just walked right in. *shrug* I don't see the point of camping early for things like that, its not like you'll never get in...

There were people camped out when we got there for the X Japan show- which happened later Sunday. Why would you bother?? SRSLY.  (Tho I found out later that the line stretched around the block a few times the next day. LOL)

So the show was absolutely FANFUCKIUNGTASTIC. Hyde sounds so small and sheepish in person when he speaks xD. He's all small like "Hi....if we come back will you come see us again? 'u'?" He was so cute. And yet, in all his songs he was YELLING LIKE CRAZY. Like, instead of singing, like you'd expect. He was having a blast tho. You could tell. He went all D'espairsRay at one point...and he was yelling between songs and it sounded like he was yelling "RAID?!?!" or "RAPE?!?!" or something. So thats what I yelled back. Who knows what he was actually saying. He was 99% incoherrant most of the show. Except when he was like "B-but I'm hungry ;u;... so hungry..."

He played a few songs I didn't really hope to hear...and didn't play some that I did hope to hear...but he replaced those with some I didn't expect to hear. He did some of his solo work songs, which are my all time favorite songs by him of all the bands/work he's done. So I was ecstatic to hear a few in person since I completely missed his solo tour...I don't even know if he got here when he did that.

Its tough to say whether he had stage presence or not. He didn't seem to command the audience...but it was hard to tell because they were all too busy swooning and yelling "I LOVE YOU!!" at him :S.

There was this one fucker who was taller than everyone he stood in front of and wouldn't listen to all the short girls who he kept dancing in front of. I would move over to the side and he would LEEEEEEEAAANNN to dance and get in front of me. So I moved the other way, and HE WOULD LEEEEEAAANNNNN and get in front of me again. I wanted him dead. This one poor girl was like at least 4' or shorter... he got right in front of her, danced like a douche and kept smashing into her. I wanted to beat him up and hold her over everyone so she could see. I felt awful for her. And he had a buge nose and huge hair. Like 2+ extra inches of hair. Fucker. The other half the time we were stuck behind Naruto, party of 5.

I've never felt weirder being white. SO MAN ASIANS. It just felt weird. and OMG the haircolors and hairstyles. Holycrap. There were people with bright pink hair, purple hair, blue hair, black/orange, black/red, tiny gothic top hats....maid outfits...and these weren't NYAF people either. You could tell...this was the weird NYC heart of Visual Kei and Lolita. It was an experience...and we didn't have a camera :<

However some people did...the chick a few people in front of me was getting some wicked shots...she had better blog about it....in english so I can find them >>;;

So halfway through the show Hyde took his jacket half off and wasn't wearing a shirt under it. OH ...MY GOD. Even my boyfriend has admitted multiple times, that he is so fucking sexy. He is like "I understand now why you would leave me for that guy.. Holyshit." For a 41 year old man, Hyde is one sexy motherfucker. He's the only celebrity in the world that I love/lust etc. Srsly.

And the show was being recorded professionally with HD cameras! I can't wait to get the Blu-ray of it :333333333 It was such an amazing show. My ears are still ringing and I have such a headache but it was so worth it.

And I have blisters in places I never knew I could get them....places on my feet that is. My feet kept sliding to the front of my shoes when I walked...so it was like stubbing my toes for like a mile. It so sucked. But all the pain was worth it.

So thats my fun stuff. No I'm not dead...just lazy and uninspired.

But yeah, SIMPLY AMAZING. I can't wait till the come back to the US again TuT
