I'm holding a contest! Wahoo!!

Whoo~!! I've never done this before xD;

Anyway YUS! as it states I AM HOLDING A CONTEST!!!

Unfortunately since I'm poor, I can't afford to be like OH I SENDS YOU A PS3 LOLZ.

But what I can offer, is something a lot cuter...but probably not as fun- but fun nonetheless.

The Idea~

Well, a lot of you have seen my gallery for Jakenpon Showdown- I am designing characters for a game. The game is a rock paper scissors battle game, displayed like street fighter almost...



I am challenging you as my faithful viewers to design a character to fit into this game. It can be anything, just try to keep it fairly simple. Refer to [link] for examples.

Two entries will be selected, one male and one female. (The characters, not the artists lol D: )

The entries will be judged by and myself. Possibly if she is alive D:

THE PRIZES lol...

The two winning characters will be used in the game, with full credit given to the original artist.

*Please note~!!* To keep artistic consistency in the game, the character will most likely be redrawn by me (with credit where it is due of course!) to fit into the scheme of things etc etc.

Rules

Nothing too complicated here rules wise.

- Please don't make the images overly massive, working off of a 20000x20000 pixel picture won't be fun.

- When you upload the picture, whether it be a deviation or linked elsewhere, send me a note with a link to your entry, and tell me if you don't want me to post it in this journal. As the contest progresses, I'll be posting entries as thumbnails in here as I get them.

- The deadline is May 9th, please submit your entry before then :3

- More than one entry is allowed ;D Can never have too many XD

- Please remember the art style of the game - its chibi mostly. You can draw the character however you like, and if you would like to submit an older deviation/character not specifically drawn for this contest- be my guest, just remember it'll end up being a chibi like the ones in my Jakenpon gallery.


Random Question Answers

You may notice that Alice now has more poses....
- Each character will have a set of poses for attack, win, lose, etc. You do not have to draw all of these, when I redraw them for the game, I'll be doing all of the posing.

When is the game going to be finished?
-Honestly there is no real release date atm. It's not even an official game. It is a small project done by me, and . You can get some (but not much xP) information by visiting his Gallery/Profile.
- Theres still a ton of work left on the game xD;


This contest isn't meant to be anything extravagant, theres no awesome massive prizes or anything like that- its really just for some fun and a chance to get some interesting stuff from the people around me, I know there are a lot of talented people here!

Please don't mistake me- I'm not out to steal rights to your artwork here.

It;s all about having fun, and being part of something, so just have fun with it!
